According to accident reports, the westbound sedan collided broadside with the southbound sedan.
Authorities said the driver and front passenger of the southbound sedan were both killed in the violent crash, while a rear passenger suffered serious injuries. Reportedly, The driver of the westbound sedan was also killed and a passenger was injured. The California Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
